 AICPI FOR INDUSTRIAL WORKERS

Union Labour Minister Shri Santosh Gangwar unveils report on base revision of Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) TO 2016=100 from existing 2001=100 on 22-10-2020 on a special occasion. He also releases consumer price index for industrial workers (CPI-IW) for SEPTEMBER 2020 BASED on the new index series 2016=100. The new CPI-IW for September is given below:

  *All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers - AICPI (IW) for the month of September,2020 stands at the level of 118 as per 2016=100 new series. (Linking factor is 2.88).Therefore Index (2001=100) is 340. That is TWO points increase on last month's Index.

STR DN ZOOM MTG is today at 3 PM. Sri V.K. Sanjeevi, CGM, CHTD has informed us that he will participate in our ZOOM MTG today at 3.30 PM. 

 CHQ PRESIDENT COM PSR's HEALTH CONDITION

Today early morning I received a voice message from Com  PSR, our President. He was sitting in a chair till morning from 2-30.am. If he tries to sleep there will be continuous cough .He started losing courage and self confidence. For so many years I never noticed him like this. It disturbed  me very much.

I was in constant touch with his family since then.

He was taken to a private hospital nearby and Rapid Antigen test was taken and it was positive. As per his desire, his family tried for admission in any one of the government hospitals but no bed is available. Ultimately, this evening he was admitted in PRS hospital (Private)for further treatment.

This is for the information of our  members and I request you all not to disturb for a fortnight atleast. I will update in between depending on his recovery condition.

Today I spoke to PSR ' s daughter to find out his health condition. She informed me that his fever is reduced but cough persists. His Doctor friend told that it is DUST ALLERGY and likely to continue for a long time.  She told that he is very weak as he is not able to take food property.

I had a very brief talk with our CHQ President. His voice is very feeble and looking tired. 

I request all our members NOT TO DISTURB him for another TWO WEEKS.

Our CHQ Vice President and STR Division President Com. A.Sugumaran's grand Son Master C. Aditya has passed All India Competitive IIT exams in 75th RANK and also this is the FIRST RANK in Vidhya Maharishi Vidyalaya Chennai .It is a great achievement  which he has got by  very hard and strenuous work out.

We convey our best wishes to Master Aditya and wish him more and more success in all his attempts and congratulations to our STR DN President Com. A. Sugumaran.

 STRDN ZOOM MEETING

We are happy to inform that Sri, V.K. Sanjeevi, CGM, CHENNAI TELEPHONES has kindly consented to attend our ZOOM MEETING on SECOND TUESDAY  - 13-10-20. The Meeting will be from 3 PM TO 5 PM (REPEAT 3 PM to 5 PM) this month. 100 MEMBERS only can be admitted in the zoom meeting. So we request our members to come early 5 minutes before the meeting and wait in the waiting room. the meeting will be split into 3 meetings because maximum time allowed is 40 minutes only.  One will be between 3.00 and 3.40  and the other will be 3.40 to 4.20 PM and the 3rd meeting will be 4.20 to 5.00 .  We will send you user id and password next week. members should cooperate & understand the procedures and act accordingly.
