9/9/25..A BRIEF Detailed Proceedings will Follow. This is just Information for expectant Members....

After the Usual Tributes to the departed souls, the following Agenda ... 

1. Circle Conference/AIC

    a). Finalisation of Delegates to Circle Conference.

     b). Finalisation of Delegates to AIC.

      c). Resolutions.

       d). Other Items 

Proceedings went on step by step....

CIRCLE CONFERENCE.

As The Circle O/Bs & D/S  are Exofficio, for the rest of 36 Delegates to the Circle Conference, A proposal was mooted to send The President & The Treasurer which was unanimously accepted. Five Ladies & One from Kerala were approved. For the Rest of 28, initially Options were called for from the Present Participants in person  Then some members have intimated their willingness to participate to the Division Union though not present( due to unavoidable circumstances). All put together, the Number was 48. After frank/fair deliberation 36 Delegates & 10 Visitors were declared...                       

A.I.C.... 

The Issue of Delegates  to AIC was taken up. Only 18 eligible as per our Membership. The President, The D/S & District Treasurer & One  from Kerala were  unanimously elected. Only 14 were to be decided. Yet about 24 Members Opted. The Circle Secretary clarified that as adjacent State(Circle) He has spoken to Kerala Reception Committee for accommodation of Visitors/Observers. Although No Assurance given, in a couple of days some reply in this regard is expected on his insistence. Hence The District Union was authorised to Name the Delegates from amongst the Optees. A Request was also made to Kerala Reception Committee by Our STR Division...

Thereafter Resolutions to the Circle Conference/AIC were taken up and useful deliberations took place...

Then some other issues were mentioned. Com.Mohankumar raised a valuable point of attending two Circle Conferences being A Dual Member. The President clarified that his point was correct and  appealed to him not to press the point. The President emphatically told that it was better not to elaborate on it at this juncture. Our CHQ VP Muthiyalu & Com.Sivasankaran spoke about Amendments to the Constitution. Com.Sivasankaran's point of Internal Audit for the CHQ as in the case of Circle was noteworthy. Com. Sivakumar spoke about Pension Revision in the light of Ongoing Wage Revision for the serving BSNL Employees and exhorted  that Negotiations as agreed upon by the G/S (aside of legal battle) at Salem alone would be fruitful in realising Pension Revision pending for years . Com.Ramakrishnan quoted about the retrograde amendments of 5 years for AIC and the restriction imposed on the number of Delegates. Com.Baskar has aired his views on Society. Com.Victorraj took exception to the write-ups of some Seniors in the affairs of Society and applauded the Steps taken by The Circle Secretary along with Com.Sugumaran and others. Com. Subbarao suggested instead of resorting to criticism, as A major Outfit, Our TN.Circle can initiate steps to forge Unity amongst Various Pensioners Associations. Com.Sugumaran detailed the steps taken with regard to Society and explained the realistic situation. 

Com. Manthiramurthy despite his health conditions, attended the GB and pointed out some of the avoidable mistakes, specially by the President which was well-taken. D/S informed that donations from about 800 members were received and conveyed his Thanks. 

Finally NK appreciated the services of 

Com. Sundarakrishnan as Circle Secretary and expressed that most of the Members of STR Division want this Continuity for the sake of Pensioners. Com.Sundarbabu made Vote of Thanks🌹🙏.. NK

Life Certificates which are valid up to September that is 30-09-2025 are displayed here under. 5824 LC/DLC have to be renewed this month. The list contains 115 pages and the names are listed in Alphabetical manner. Please try to give LC/DLC as early as possible for continuous pension payment from Oct 25 onwards.
