A great loss to our AIBSNLPWA .           Com.T Pichai Mohan Raj is no more. He was the Reception Committee President in 2009, while Formation of our AIBSNLPWA Organisation .  CCA TN OFF NOTICE Regarding INOFRMATION ABOUT "DOWNLOADING FORM 16 FOR INCOME TAX DEDUCTED PENSIONERS ONLY and DOWNLOADING MONTHLY PENSION SATATEMENT"

Yesterday ( 21-07-2024 ) representatives of  AIBSNLPWA led by V.Varaprasad GS, including RSN.Murthy VP and VRK. Sharma Advisor Vizag Distt., met the new Minister of State for Communications, Dr. Chandrasekar Pemmasani in Guntur.

During the meeting, we submitted a formal letter requesting Dr. Chandrasekar to advise the Department Of Telecommunications ( DOT) to discuss our long- over due pension revision, effective from January 01-2017.

Dr. Chandrasekar listened to our concerns and told us that he is well aware of the issue. He said he will look into the matter further.

 PENSION REVISION CASE IS ADJOURNED IN 

HIGH COURT DELHI

The appeal filed by the Union of India before the High Court was listed as Item 33 before Hon'ble Justices Suresh Kait and Girish Kathpalia today (12-07-2024). Due to non-availability of Mr Ghose, Our lawyer sought a short accommodation. The Honourable Court has adjourned the matter to August 1, 2024. Mr Ghose will represent us on that date.

Our STR Comrades of Thanjavur and Kumbakonam SSAs are informed to utilise the opportunity to submit their KYP and Life Certificates in the Adalat Venue itself.

 IDA INCREASED BY 1%  FROM  1ST JULY  2024

SO TOTAL IDA IS 217.8%

All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers  ( 2016=100 ) for May, 2024 increased by 0.5 Points from 139.4 in April 2024 and pegged at 139.9 points as per press release by Labour Bureau. On conversion to 2001=100 series  it comes to 402.91 points

Therefore I D A from July will be 217.8%. Which means an increase of 1%.

Our Monthly Meeting was conducted at Telephone House, 5th Floor on 09-07-2024 Second Tuesday . Presided over by our President Com.N.K.
Anjali and Welcome address were given by our D S. N.S. Deenadayalan. The following Comrades shared their views w.r..to Our Circle Executive Conference  held on 19th Evening 1700Hrs to 20th Evening 1700 Hrs at Salem by Salem West District.               

N.S.Deenadayalan, DS,   K.Arumugam, ACS.    H.S.Sudha.  O.S.  S. Sivasankaran, V.P and D. Victorraju, V.P.   Our President  Com.N.K. also attended and shared their experiences. Finally our C S Com S.Sundarakrishnan briefed  how the Grievances of our Members were settled  with CCA Office   including 78.2  %  Revision of Pension . Those who have not yet submitted can now submit to Jt. CCA in the Affidavit Format. He also explained the latest payment of IDA arrears Credited to 9000 Pensioner and being Credited to others also. He also explained our approach in the issue of Co Operative Society Dues of our Member.

The contempt petition was listed as Item 25 today i. e ; 03-07-2024 before the CAT.

Mr. Ghose appeared on our behalf and submitted that the Department had still not complied with the judgment despite having failed to obtain a stay from the HC now on 2 occasions.

He requested that JS, DoT may be asked to remain personally present on the next date in case of non-compliance.

The bench was pleased to record that the HC had allowed it to proceed with the contempt petition and therefore it was bound to ensure compliance of its judgment.

Matter was adjourned to 13-08-2024.

MANDATORY LINKING OF CGHS ID WITH ABHA ID KEPT IN ABEYANCE 

 

        CCA  OFFICE  NEWS 

இன்று  (14-06-2024) மாநில செயலாளர் மற்றும் Com. ஆறுமுகம் ACS, CCA அலுவலகம் சென்று, FP CONVERSION, FP Payment, FMA மற்றும் 78.2 %  IDA  பென்ஷன் REVISION பற்றி விசாரித்தனர்.             

1. FP conversion of many cases, sanction put up to AO ( பென்ஷன்). Requested to clear and send to PDA sec to enable to get FP for the month of June. Family பென்ஷன் to all the sanctioned   cases will be paid for June 2024. 

2. Pending cases of FP CONVERSION-     To speed up, 2  Accountants  are posted to deal the subject.

3. FMA. Sanction 450 CASES sanctioned and sent to PDA. Processed files around 700 are under sanction. Joint CCA has told by all means, no more pending of  FMA by July. For a few FMA cases no supporting documents, which will be conveyed to submit the missing information.

4. Sanction of Co- authorisation in FORM 4  for 29 persons is completed. Requested to sanction re-authorisation of disabled child also. Missing documents like account details, guardian is requested to submit.

5. Regarding Pension revision based on 78.2 % IDA merger w/o extra increment.  Approximately  more than 150 requests received. Out of which, revision calculation worked out for 25 requests and sent to AO PENSION. While verifying the file, more than 100 cases are not having BSNL recommendation. It was a debate whether the request has to be sent to BSNL. We suggested to Jt. CCA not to insist for BSNL sanction as done earlier. Joint CCA agreed to our proposal. DS are requested to send the request letter in the affidavit proforma from all eligible pensioners. This task has to be completed early.
