 Our District President com.A.Sugumaran  participated in  VELLORE Dharna  and delivered special address.   Our Circle Secretary participated in  Madurai dharna and delivered special address. Coms.Narasimhan,K.Selvarajan,  Ravi and Kalyanaraman are out of chennai due to personnel reasons.They expressed their inability to participate  and conveyed their wishes.

Today’s Dharna in the campus of CCA office venue at  60, Ethiraj Salai was commenced at 1030 hrs with raising thundering slogans. Around 750 comrades participated in this dharna. This time more lady members attended the dharna. The program was presided over by  the combined presidentship  of Com. V. Ramarao President TNC and com Munusamy President Chennai TD.

The Welcome address was given by Com.Thangaraj CS Chennai TD. Com Ramarao in his address emphasized that most of our service rendered was in  DOT and all the retirement benefits  are based on CCS CCA Rules. Hence it is the duty of the Govt to accord pension revision for us as per 7th CPC. Com. RK veteran leader of NFTE mentioned about the achievements of our Association in 78.2 %DA merger and quashing 60% and 40% of  licence fee etc. Our demands and attempts had never met with failure and now definitely we will achieve pension revision also at par with 7^th CPC implementation.

Shri Natarajan GS elaborately explained his recent visit to DOT NewDelhi. He told that there is  lot of changes in the mind sets of officers of DOT to move the file etc. Com DG. CHQ VP gave attractive speech. He mentioned about BSNL CO decision of the revised norms of Medical reimbursement with voucher and extention of Medical allowance from April 2018 .This is provided when the financial condition of BSNL is in critical position. It is nothing but our Association's achievement. Similarly we are vigorously  pursuing with DOT and Dept of pension to get the pension revised at par with CG pensioner in IDA pattern. After our 20th June Demo . when our GS met Member services he told that they decided to pursue our demand. The Dept of Pension is willing to consider our demand if it is received from DOT with proper recommendation but DOT is linking with wage revision. We will pursue it and try to de-link pension revision from that of wage revision and we will achieve the goal. Till we achieve we will fight.

Com Pattabiraman ex CS of NFTE TN Circle and com R.Govindarajan Circle VP also addressed the gathering . Com.Kannappan ChTD Treasurer conveyed vote of Thanks to all participants and media. He told all members to handover  KYP form duly filled in duplicate to their respective Branch Secretaries.

In today’s dharna the mood and involvement expressed by the attendees was simply impressive.

ORGANISE THE DHARNA ON 18-7-2018 WITH VIGOUR

Dear Comrades.

As the next stage of our struggle programmes, organize massive dharna at SSA headquarters to press our demand for pension revision with effect from 1-1-2017 granting the fitment benefit suggested by Seventh CPC for central service pensioners in India. That is the only correct demand. We only raised the correct demand at the right time. Now, our MTNL retiree comrades are also with us in full spirit. We move together with hope.

PRC has not suggested any formula for pension revision. Whereas, CPC has suggested a formula for pension revision.

Joint forum of MTNL Retirees and AIBSNLPWA demand delinking of pension revision from pay revision. Delink it from PRC in total. Delink it from the fiscal performance of BSNL and MTNL. Because, for that, Government of India is paying pension; it need not depend upon the financial condition of BSNL/MTNL.

The Demonstration programme on 20-6-2018 had its impact. There is some visible change in the attitude of authorities. Small; but significant. By end of July 2018, our demand …. only our demand …. will be forwarded to Department of Pension. It is only a small advancement. We have to do a lot in coming days. Step by Step. No step goes in vain. It requires a policy decision at the highest level. So, send the resolutions to Prime Minister and the Minister for Pension.

Please organize maximum people on 18-7-2018. I know weather is not good at many places. But, we have faced all types of weather in our life.

BSNLMRS ALLOWANCE FOR WITHOUT VOUCHER ORDER ISSUED

MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Dear Comrades,   DOT has instructed ALL CCAs to make pension payment directly to their pensioners bank account from CCA OFFICE and asked to stop the present practice of engaging banks CPPCs in this regard. Accordingly CCA TN has released a KYP FORM (KNOW YOUR PENSIONER) and asked all pensioners  to fill up that form and send to their office immediately. This is mandatory. NOT OPTIONAL.  All pensioners have to give this form to CCA OFFICE. In our last meeting we informed our members about this and given the copy of the KYP FORMS to them.  We are informing this information to other members now through whatsapp.   We have attached the form below.   please take a print out of this form, fill it up and send to our Asst. Secretary Com S. NARASIMHAN's home address mentioned below.  It can not be sent through email or whatsapp because you have to attach xerox copies of your birth certificates, pan card, aadhaar cards.  while sending the form please check whether you have submitted your MEMBERS BIO DATA form to our association. You can check it with Com Narasimhan. If not please see below for the Membership form also. fill it up and send it simultaneously. or you can hand it over in our next monthly meeting.  send it by ordinary post by post office.  and later confirm whether the form is reached.  this is most important information to our members. please read the form carefully if you have any doubt please call us for any clarifications.  we will collect the forms and our secretary will hand over it to CCA OFFICE in one bundle of 100s.     To avoid rush at the last minute we request our members to send it immediately.       address: S. 10-7-18 STR DN MONTHLY MEETING BRIEF REPORT:

Com A. Sugumaran presided over the meeting. Com Sridharan read out the minutes of the last meeting and got approval from the Members. Com S. Narasimhan conveyed birthday greetings to the members whose birthdays are coming in this month. Com A.L. Venkataraman offered SWEETS  to our members in view of his birthday celebration.  Com Narasimhan conveyed STR DN. Family Welfare News. Later he introduced the 16 new members to the General Body. Then he spoke MEDICAL ALLOWANCE payment issue in STR, STP, TN. He said that payment is due for CHTD. CHTD has raised a demand of 2.35 Crores for payment and BSNL is yet to give the allotment to CHTD. Our GS Com Natarajan also urged BSNL Officers to make payment when he met them last week in New Delhi. He said that CCA TN office has  issued NOTICE to pensioners that the pension payment will be taken over by them soon from banks/post offices. CCA TN has given one form to be filled by pensioners and submitted to them soon. The forms were given to the members in the meeting itself and asked them to hand over it to Narasimhan in next meeting. (We will publish the form in whatsapp and website soon). He spoke about Trichy Circle Conference and Puri All India Conference. He requested the members to attend for the DHARNA on 18-7-18 at 10.00 AM at CCA OFFICE, Ethiraj Salai. 

Com S. Sundarakrishnan in his speech it is very difficult to enroll new members and he is trying his best to enroll as much members as possible. He requested the ANNUAL Members to become Life Members soon. He explained about MEDICAL ALLOWANCE payment issues in STR, STP, TN and CHTD. He said that he has taken up our members cases l with CCA Office. He said about 300 members out of 830 members only paid ALL INDIA CONFERENCE DONATION. He said that Rs.22,000/- only received from members and we need to give 35000/- to our ALL INDIA CONFERENCE. He requested members who have not  given the donation to pay  as early as possible. He said that he took up the case of 3% increment issue with TN Circle office payment made for 3 persons during June 18 and further process of 3 persons during July 18. He said that he was very glad to see that com K. Muthiyalu, our Circle Secretary was honoured with “LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD” by TIRUNELVELI DIVISION.Standing OVATION respect was given by the generalbody to Com.Muthialu CS.

Com A. Sugumaran informed about the DHARNA on 18-7-18 at CCA Office and requested our members to attend it positively. He clarified the points and doubts about our demand of pension revision as per 7th CPC. He said that the one increment case is adjourned because there was no full DIVISION BENCH to hear our case. The next hearing is fixed on 11th Sept and we hope that we will get the judgement soon in favour of us. He said that Com K. Muthiyalu is the fittest person to receive the “LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD” from our Tirunelveli Division. He said though he is not well he is working very hard to solve our grievances and problems. 

Com Muthiyalu in his address said that there is no pension revision any one of the PSU except our  BSNL. It is because our leaders like Com Om.P. Guptha fought for it when DOT is converted in to Public Sector as BSNL. He requested our members to subscribe for our CHQ Journal PENSIONERS PATRIKA. He said that STR Dn should try to improve their Members Meeting attendance from 120 to 300. He said that 18 members are attending for PURI all india conference and said that more members should come for that conference. He said that two importance resolutions are coming in the conference. He said that our GS Com Natarajan met DOT Officers in New Delhi last week and discussed about our PENSION REVISION. He got some news from them that DOT is soon going to send a letter to DOP & PW about our pension revision demand as per 7th CPC. He said that there was good attendance about 100 from STR DN. For last 20-6-18 demonstration and he said that he is expecting more members for the DHARNA on 18-7-18 at CCA OFFICE. He said that our association is only taking up the pension revision case as per CPC from the beginning . he said that our association is taking all types of cases and problems. He said that our TN association is having 10000 MEMBERS. He conveyed his thanks to those who conveyed greeting to him for getting LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD from Tirunelveli.
