CENTRAL GOVT EMPLOYEES AND PENSIONERS DA INCREASE 

FROM 1-1-2021

With the AICPI (IW) December, 2020 Index reaching 342 (2001 =100) Central Government Employees and Pensioners are entitled to 28% DA/ DR from 1-1-2021. However they will continue to get 17% as their DA  is frozen upto 30-06-2021.

AICPI POINTS DECREASED FOR BSNL PENSIONERS

All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers - AICPI ( IW ) for December, 2020 decreased by 1.1 points and stood at 118.8 (2016=100) If we convert that into 2001 =100, it comes to 342.

Regarding Pension Anomaly case, after the Delhi high court judgement, DoT moved the file to Pension Department for its approval.

Pension Department took a positive decision but put the rider to seek the approval from Expenditure Department.

Expenditure Department wanted to know whether there is any ground for appeal.

Accordingly the file was sent to Department of Law and Justice.

Now that department has given its opinion that it is a weak case for appeal.

So, all the hurdles are over. It is presumed that the opinion of Law and Justice department will be sent to DoE.

After its clearance DoT will have to issue the order. Let us hope to get the final order by next month.

 HARD COPIES OF EPPO OF 

SAMPANN PENSIONERS

CCA office started sanctioning pension thro.SAMPANN for JANUARY 2020 VRS OPTEES since February/March 2020 and eppos were issued for approx 200 Pensioners. Subsequently due to corona lock down  process of Pension was slowed down Sanction of pension was given priority. CCA Office has sent soft copy of eppo and it was decided that individual has to take print out. It was a decision for all those who retired on Superannuation during 2020. We were not able to  have a direct meeting with Officers of CCA Office. On 05.11.2020 our CS com RV and com Ramarao CP had a meeting with CCA and Jt.CCA at R.K.Nagar. During the meeting they insisted for issue of hard copies of signed Ppo. Cca told that more than 8000 PPOs are to printed and due to shortage  of staff. They have plan to engage external agency for printing of Ppo. Tender process is in progress. On 15.12.2020 RV CS and Sundarakrishnan DS STR /ACS met Jt.Cca and AO PENSION discussed various issues. During that time also they emphasized the necessity of issue of hard copies of eppo. They told that decision has been finalized and the work of printing will commence by January 2021 and eppo will be despatched within a couple of months. The same was told in the recent Adalat.

Life certificate for Pension. 

1. All the Pensioners(Non SAMPANN ) have to give their life certificate during November 2020. However the same is extended upto Feb 2021. 

2.Regarding SAMPANN PENSIONERS retired during DECEMBER  2019 are requested to submit LC by January 2021 

VRS 2019 PENSIONERS /Superannuation during January 2020 are requested to submit their LC/DLC during January 2021 and however they can submit before the end of February 2021. 

Cca office has been  receiving LC since December 2020. My suggestion is not to postpone till Feb. Please submit it during January 2021 itself. We posted the above already during November 2020.
