Nationwide agitation by BSNL/MTNL pensioners :

 Joint action program  by six major BSNL/ MTNL pensioners' Associations including ours was given demanding pension revision as per 7th CPC fitment formula .  All of us have witnessed that Call attention day on 19th December 2022 and two day dharna on 17th, 18th January 2023 was successfully observed throughout the country. 

 *Rally on February 8 to Sanchar Bhavan in Delhi and CCA offices in circles, the third phase of the agitation was also implemented very successfully by these pensioner associations in BSNL/MTNL . Rally programme was suitably modified depending upon the local requirements. 

 Though Hon MoC was positive, because of the negative attitude of authorities in sanchar bhawan,We had resorted to the agitational approach demanding the immediate  pension revision with effect  from 1.1.2017 for pre 2017 retirees as per 7th CPC and the same benefit to be extended to post 2017 retirees also. More than 3.5 lakh pensioners are awaiting the settlement very eagerly. The enthusiastic response vindicated the anger of the Pensioners against the inordinate delay and large majority of pensioners are convinced about the justification of our demand. Congratulations & thanks to all the members, leaders at all levels of all the associations particularly Coms Bagchi, Prahlad Rai,  A K Kaushik, Jawahar and leaders of Mumbai for making the agitational program, a huge success. 

 The Telecom department has agreed for the delinking the pension revision from pay revision as per the instructions of Hon MoC.   *DOT' s concrete note with fitment formula and its proposal on addressing anomaly have yet to be firmed up. 

 Let's closely monitor the further developments on the issue and we hope to jointly pusue for final settlement as per our demand.

Quite Understandable. Yet Our Leaders prudently changed it to Human Chain, which in result, has become better Effective...

Finally as We come to know of, the Human Chain was about to be unpermissible by the Police Authorities but due to the timely/convincing approach by Our Circle Secretary Sundarakrishnan, the Program has been conducted successfully...

The list of Tamil Nadu circle pensioners who were migrated to SAMPANN portal during January 2023 is provided below

along with the validity of Life Certificate for the migrated pensioners. Pensioners are advised to update the LC accordingly.

Further, while submitting the LC please enter the following details correctly.

Note : 590 pensioners of Union Bank of India has been migrated into SAMPANN portal, however due to technical issues

at the bank side, pension disbursement has not been STOPPED by the bank. Once, issue gets resolved LC will be

Note 1 : Immediate action required: Validity of your life certificate / digital life certificate is

expired on 31.01.2023. You are requested to submit your LC/DLC immediately for continued

drawal of pension from FEBRUARY 2023 onwards. Pension amount for the month of FEBRUARY

2023 can be drawn only upon renewal of LC/DLC.

Note 2 : For submission of Digital Life Certificate through Jeevan Praman, the following
