An Executive Committee Meeting was held on 18-04-2018 at 1430 hours in the Flower Bazaar Exchange. President Com. A.Sugumaran presided over the meeting. First one minute silence was observed to the departed souls of our comrades, TU leaders celebrities etc. He told that it is mandatory to hold an executive meeting prior to the AGB meeting which is on 20-04-2018 and so we are conducting the meeting. He informed the house the difficulties and health conditions of our Treasurer com. S.Ramakrishnan. The treasurer had told him that he was on the way to the meeting with a copy of unaudited accounts particulars. He was proud to announce that from STR Division branch 18 comrades had attended the recently concluded CWC meeting in RGM TTC and rendered their yeoman service for the smooth conduct of the CWC. 
Then Com. D.S.Ramalingam, the STR Div. Secretary  explained  that CEC in Pondy was conducted on 10th and 11th of this month followed by CWC in Chennai on 16th and 17th so he selected 18th Apr for our EB meeting. He read out the annual report with deep discussion and after some small corrections it was unanimously accepted by the house. Unaudited accounts for the year 2016-17  and 2017-18 was read out and some doubts raised were clarified. The house accepted the same.
19 members including 2 special invitees attended the meeting. Snacks and Coffee were offered to all.
