Today LAC meeting of Guindy wellness centre was held at 0930 hrs. On our side problems raised were:
1. Vijayalakshmi Swaminathan ChTD complained that for getting the Neuro medicines , they insist on prescription from KK Nagar.
It was agreed that prescription from any empanelled hospital doctor with number of months (3or6) is required as CMO is not neuro specialist.
2. Mrs. Ambujavalli , ChTD wanted preference for 80 plus people. It is agreed that at registration counter staff will give a chit to the doctor mentioning the name and doctor will call by name. Exception is if any serious case less than 80 comes.
3. Mr. Kuppusamy , ChTD wanted that Physiotherapy should be allowed in and around Velachery or fix the amount so that it can be done in any hospital and claimed.
She wanted us to pursue some hospital to join CGHS . Regarding reimbursement of amount, it is only Rs.50-00 as per CGHS which is of no use.
4. Mrs. Savithri Anantharaman , ChTD complained that the following 3 medicines are not supplied :
a) Renerve plus - is food supplement and hence not allowed
b).Silodal 8 mg - not supplied by the company but equivalent will be given.
c) Inj. Toujeo - equivalent will be given as the company is not supplying .
Generally the meeting was very cordial and CMO is ready to help within her powers and wanted me to get a new accommodation in BSNL building as the present accommodation is old and not safe.
