AIBSNLPWA   Tamilnadu Circle Conference is going to be held on 7th & 8th August at Trichy. CCA, CGMs of all circles were invited to attend the conference.  All India leaders of our associations are coming and attending the conference. Our Secretary Com S. Sundarakrishnan, Treasurer N. Mohan, President A. Sugumaran, R. Govindarajan, N.S. Deenadayalan, Kalidoss, Circle K. Muthiyalu are leaving Chennai today sunday to Trichy to attend CIRCLE EXECUTIVE COMMITTE MEETING on Monday.  30 delegates from our STR DIVISION are leaving monday from chennai to Trichy to participate in the Circle Conference.  Our members arriving trichy are requested to come to Vasavi Mahal and meet our division leaders there to get accommodation there

For BSNLMRS   without voucher    option:    AO STP Chennai informed me today that those who want to avail without voucher facility for this year has to give FRESH OPTION to STP.  (because the amount and ceilings are changed) those who want to continue in with voucher facility need not give fresh option to continue in the same with voucher facility. they can change their option to get without voucher facility also.  they only should give option.   They told that there are 42 pensioners opted for without voucher facility for last year. So we request our members who want without voucher please give option directly to AO, STP, CGM PROJECTS OFFICE, 26 GREENWAYS LANE, R.A., Puram, CHENNAI-28.     Please see below for the option form.please change the year 2018-19

 Our District President com.A.Sugumaran  participated in  VELLORE Dharna  and delivered special address.   Our Circle Secretary participated in  Madurai dharna and delivered special address. Coms.Narasimhan,K.Selvarajan,  Ravi and Kalyanaraman are out of chennai due to personnel reasons.They expressed their inability to participate  and conveyed their wishes.

Today’s Dharna in the campus of CCA office venue at  60, Ethiraj Salai was commenced at 1030 hrs with raising thundering slogans. Around 750 comrades participated in this dharna. This time more lady members attended the dharna. The program was presided over by  the combined presidentship  of Com. V. Ramarao President TNC and com Munusamy President Chennai TD.

The Welcome address was given by Com.Thangaraj CS Chennai TD. Com Ramarao in his address emphasized that most of our service rendered was in  DOT and all the retirement benefits  are based on CCS CCA Rules. Hence it is the duty of the Govt to accord pension revision for us as per 7th CPC. Com. RK veteran leader of NFTE mentioned about the achievements of our Association in 78.2 %DA merger and quashing 60% and 40% of  licence fee etc. Our demands and attempts had never met with failure and now definitely we will achieve pension revision also at par with 7^th CPC implementation.

Shri Natarajan GS elaborately explained his recent visit to DOT NewDelhi. He told that there is  lot of changes in the mind sets of officers of DOT to move the file etc. Com DG. CHQ VP gave attractive speech. He mentioned about BSNL CO decision of the revised norms of Medical reimbursement with voucher and extention of Medical allowance from April 2018 .This is provided when the financial condition of BSNL is in critical position. It is nothing but our Association's achievement. Similarly we are vigorously  pursuing with DOT and Dept of pension to get the pension revised at par with CG pensioner in IDA pattern. After our 20th June Demo . when our GS met Member services he told that they decided to pursue our demand. The Dept of Pension is willing to consider our demand if it is received from DOT with proper recommendation but DOT is linking with wage revision. We will pursue it and try to de-link pension revision from that of wage revision and we will achieve the goal. Till we achieve we will fight.

Com Pattabiraman ex CS of NFTE TN Circle and com R.Govindarajan Circle VP also addressed the gathering . Com.Kannappan ChTD Treasurer conveyed vote of Thanks to all participants and media. He told all members to handover  KYP form duly filled in duplicate to their respective Branch Secretaries.

In today’s dharna the mood and involvement expressed by the attendees was simply impressive.

ORGANISE THE DHARNA ON 18-7-2018 WITH VIGOUR

Dear Comrades.

As the next stage of our struggle programmes, organize massive dharna at SSA headquarters to press our demand for pension revision with effect from 1-1-2017 granting the fitment benefit suggested by Seventh CPC for central service pensioners in India. That is the only correct demand. We only raised the correct demand at the right time. Now, our MTNL retiree comrades are also with us in full spirit. We move together with hope.

PRC has not suggested any formula for pension revision. Whereas, CPC has suggested a formula for pension revision.

Joint forum of MTNL Retirees and AIBSNLPWA demand delinking of pension revision from pay revision. Delink it from PRC in total. Delink it from the fiscal performance of BSNL and MTNL. Because, for that, Government of India is paying pension; it need not depend upon the financial condition of BSNL/MTNL.

The Demonstration programme on 20-6-2018 had its impact. There is some visible change in the attitude of authorities. Small; but significant. By end of July 2018, our demand …. only our demand …. will be forwarded to Department of Pension. It is only a small advancement. We have to do a lot in coming days. Step by Step. No step goes in vain. It requires a policy decision at the highest level. So, send the resolutions to Prime Minister and the Minister for Pension.

Please organize maximum people on 18-7-2018. I know weather is not good at many places. But, we have faced all types of weather in our life.
