MIGRATION OF FAMILY PENSIONERS TO CGHS.
Discussed the case of seeking a clarification on CGHS eligibility of family Pensioners of BSNL as sought by TN Circle and karnataka circles with PGM Pers. He regretted the delay in response and assured that the clarification will be sent within ten days.
IT NOTICES
Case regarding issue of notices to Pensioners by Income tax Dept. was discussed with concerned Officer in GM TAXATION office. It was intimated that BSNL has received representations from affected persons on the subject , the same are being examined and assured that the matter will be taken up with the IT Dept.
MRS REIMBURSEMENT
Regarding medical bills payment , I was told that the reimbursement for CHGS payments is being made regularly without any delay . Funds for reimbursement of the pending medical bills and monthly allowance are being allotted to circles from time to time . I explained that the delay in payment of medical bills is giving lot of hardships to the retirees .it was stated that the fund position is likely to improve in coming times and the issue is a priority for BSNL management
