We thank you for your letter dated 27/09/2026, appealing for support for your agitational programmes demanding wage revision w.e.f. 01/01/2017 as per the 3rd PRC formula.
Serving employees’ associations are the masters to decide their demands.
You may be well aware that our consistent demand is pension revision on the basis of the 7th CPC, delinking pension revision from pay revision. In the past, AUAB also demanded such delinking. This is because 100% of the liability for payment of pension and family pension rests with the Government of India, and BSNL has no liability in this regard.
Our SLP is pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
Since you are on the path of struggle for your own demands, as a sister organisation, we extend our support to your agitational programmes and wish you all success in your endeavours.
We call upon our members to hold a solidarity demonstration on 1st October, the anniversary of BSNL and International Day of Older Persons, when you are conducting the Relay Hunger Fast. The demonstration may be held at the same venue where your fast programme is being organised.
