CG employees 48.34 lakhs and
CG pensioners 65.26 lakhs
Total expenditure for 4 percent DA Rs.12510.04 crore per annum.
So, due to DA freeze Government may save approximately 38,000 crore.
But despite SC judgement to recover 1.47 lakh crore of AGR, from private telecom companies, the Government wanted to give them 20 years time to them
