& BRIEF REPORT OF MTG

The Special General Body of our STR Division was held today as usual at Guindy. At the outset our division expresses its sincere thanks and regards to the newly elected Circle Office-Bearers who willingly accepted our invitation and made their valuable presence. The meeting started at 1515 hrs and ended at 1730 hrs. As a mark of our respect, Silent Homage was done to our departed members and others. S.Narasimhan briefed about the welfare news connected to our members and CGHS benefits. N.S.Deenadayalan, our District Secretary welcomed the leaders and members and also made a brief report on the founding of our Association. Muthiyalu dwelt upon our Association at length from its origin to till date. Sugumaran, Our Hon. President felicitated the newly elected Circle Office-Bearers on behalf of our division and briefed about our immediate issues. Our Circle Secretary Sundarakrishnan spoke about the needs of the members and the difficulties faced during negotiations with the concerned authorities. Our Member Com. S. Ramkumar,  SDE,  TN,  CNI made a brief reference about notional increment for pensionery benefits to those retired just a day before their annual increment. R.V in a minute's speech has given a sweet message of more hospitals are in wait, to serve us through CGHS. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Mohan. Finally the STR Division while thanking the members for their participation also sincerely feel that the invitees could not share their valuable experiences due to paucity of time. The Division would definitely have their experiences shared with our members in future.
