STR DIVISION, T.N.CIRCLE.

The Usual Monthly Meeting (GB) of our STR Division held on 8/8/23 took up an agenda on Organisation and after due deliberations decided to convey the displeasure on the response of the G/S with regard to our VP/CHQ K. Muthiyalu. We feel that this is a disgrace to our STR DIVISION.

We are sorry to take a few minutes of your Valuable Time.

We understand that six Office-Bearers of our Association have addressed you in respect of Our CHQ VP Muthiyalu.  All the six letters speak mainly of an audio message by Muthiyalu, prior to Tamil Nadu Circle Executive and his speech in the Circle Executive. Herein We are at a loss to understand why those (of them) in the Circle Executive did not place/insist in the Circle Executive itself. Are we to understand that this is an afterthought!!!

As We want to be brief, you may please consider the following...

With steady growth in membership (both Non-executives & Executives) where is the point of confusion, as lamented upon by the six friends...

There is no mention in the six letters addressed to you about his tour during our Program of agitation as decided in the AIC...

In the Changed Circumstances, the Letter of G/S (Delhi Visit) and the recent discussion with Member(S) on 20/7/23 circulated as a NOTE by G/S on 21/7/23 speak of Pension Revision only on the Percentage basis. The Letter by the G/S and information from other sources clearly say that CPC Fitment has not been / is not under consideration by the Authorities.

The Reality, BEING SO, what is wrong in expression of Views in the interest of Pensioners.

May We mention that the SIX O/Bs, posing to be champions of Organisational Discipline, seem to appear as a group and have a purpose.

We firmly believe that blaming Muthiyalu and using terms like discipline, decorum are unwarranted and the statement of confusion amongst Members is just an excuse.

WE URGE The CHQ/General Secretary TO IGNORE such allegations and advise them to concentrate on Organisation. We Hope that in a massive organisation, like ours, differing Views strengthen the democratic functioning and bureaucratic attitude at any level is to be avoided....

The Role of K. Muthiyalu as Founder Member/Organiser/Leader stands foremost.

We hope that the G/S would appreciate/acknowledge the views of STR DIVISION.
